Anchorsaway Training Conferences

We want all of the Anchorsaway teachers to be well informed and effective communicators of the Christian worldview. For that reason we require that all of our teachers be attend a training conference either through our online teacher training or by organizing a training conference within your own church or community. If you would like to schedule a conference in your area, please let us know by emailing us or calling us direct.

Teaching conferences are not limited to those who wish to teach. Anyone who has a heart for our youth and wants to learn more about how teens think, the critical need to teach biblical worldview and how to communicate with the students so that they will better understand who they are, what it means to be a Christian, how to live out their faith as they thrive, not just survive in college is welcome to participate. To have a successful Anchorsaway class, it will take a handful of mature Christians who want to change the tide among young men and women. These people would benefit from the training as well.  Your team would consist of a teacher (with another who can fill in), an administrator who tracks the students and distributes material, and a community networker who knows lots of parents in the area and can invite them to join in the Anchorsaway series by sending their own children, friends of their children and other parent's children. The list will grow quickly as you all work together.

If having a training conference in your area is something that interests you, please contact us and we will send you a training packet that will help you get it organized. Once you have selected a weekend, we will begin to help you promote the conference.  Additionally, we will need some help from you or someone in your community in regard to conference promotion as well as with volunteer coordination. We would love to discuss the possibility of hosting Anchorsaway in your community, so please contact us if you are interested!
